Check the label on your original Ubiquiti adapter. It should read Output: 48V DC ⎓ 1.25A with a center-positive polarity symbol. The barrel connector measures 5.5 mm barrel (2.1 mm tip — past ook units die als 2.5 mm gedocumenteerd staan). If your adapter shows different values, it is not the right model.
The US-8-60W is powered by an external 48V DC adapter (60W). The original Ubiquiti adapter can be replaced by any 48V DC adapter with the same barrel connector, correct polarity and at least the same wattage.
Yes. The device only draws the current it needs. A higher amperage rating is safe. Never use a higher voltage.
