Which power supply does the TP-Link TL-SG1005P use?
The TL-SG1005P is powered by an external 53.5V DC adapter (70W). The original TP-Link adapter can be replaced by any 53.5V DC adapter with the same barrel connector, correct polarity and at least the same wattage. The required connector is 5.5 × 2.1 mm barrel plug, polarity center-positive.
Can I use a power supply with a higher amperage rating?
Yes. The device only draws the current it needs. A higher amperage rating is safe. Never use a higher voltage.
