Check the label on your original Synology adapter. It should read Output: 12V DC ⎓ 8.33A with a center-positive polarity symbol. The barrel connector measures 4-pin DIN (Kycon KPPX-4P). If your adapter shows different values, it is not the right model.

Which power supply does the Synology DS214+ use?
The DS214+ is powered by an external 12V DC adapter (100W). The original Synology adapter can be replaced by any 12V DC adapter with the same barrel connector, correct polarity and at least the same wattage.
